Nine national conferences entitled “Children Rough Sleepers – Runaways & Homeless: Sharing Experiences of Best Practices & What Works In Reducing Rough Sleeping” have been organized in Europe, covering the UK, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain and Hungary.
The purpose of all these key events is to reach a wider audience on issues treating of children rough sleepers, to share knowledge and expertise, to develop collaboration among interested stakeholders and to support further development work in this field so as to be an effective ‘voice’ that can generate awareness, propose concrete solutions, and thereby reduce stigma.
To participate, check the conference calendar.

An European Conference at the European Parliament and a Policy Round Table discussion are both scheduled to be held in Brussels on 10 and 11 December 2014 respectively. To each of these events, important players, journalists and European parliament members who are active in the area of children’s rights will all be present.
